Cooper Laparoscopic Liver Biopsy
Yesterday was liver surgery day, and three cheers for laparoscopic liver biopsies. Beagle Cooper had his liver sampled with a laparoscopic technique; surgery at noon, and on his way back home at 8 PM.
Our other liver patient had a tumor to remove which required traditional surgey with a larger incision. While he too is making a good recovery, with Cooper's two small surgery incisions he was literally running circles around the other patient.

Cooper's tiny incisions on his way home.
This is an image of the biopsy forceps on the liver. (We need to figure out a better image capture system than a technician with a digital camera!)
