See Spot Run Canine Rehabilitation
Veronica Busick, DVM, CCRT
Dr Busick's interest in rehabilitation was sparked during her time as a veterinary student at Purdue University. She was able to see post-operative orthopedic patients receiving rehabilitation improve more quickly and do better long term when compared to patients who had similar procedures without rehabilitation. She received her certification through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2009.
Amy Gerst, RVT, CCRP
Amy is a registered veterinary technician who received her certification for canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee. Frank, a basset hound with degenerative disc disease and Janie Rose, a boxer with degenerative myelopathy inspired her interest in animal rehabilitation.
Bekka is a veterinary technician student who is actively working toward a certification in canine massage therapy. She plans to pursue certification in canine rehabilitation in the future. Bekka trains and competes in multiple venues with her Australian Shepherds and sees first hand the benefits of preventative conditioning and rehabilitation.
Amy is pursuing certification as a veterinary assistant and has an interest in canine rehabilitation. She has seen the benefit of therapeutic exercise in many different pets both in the clinic and at home. She has a special talent with the more uncooperative patients and enjoys training dogs to perform exercises correctly.
