At Bright Eyes & Bushy Tails Veterinary Hospital in Iowa City, we strive to provide the very best veterinary care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Our practice is American Animal Hospital Association Accredited (AAHA). Only 15 percent of all small animal veterinary practices in the U.S. have achieved accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association. In order to maintain accreditation, Bright Eyes & Bushy Tails is evaluated regularly by the association’s consultants.

Urgent Care

Urgent cases are accepted during our regular scheduled hours and do not need an appointment. If it is determined that a patient is suffering from an illness or injury that requires major surgery or 24-hour intensive care, the patient will be transferred to a 24-hour facility.
